Subject: Need Help in Finding the Path

I've been in sales about a year. I'm an eight car a month salesman who desperately wants to be a 30+ salesperson. Today I found out that a "secret shopper" came and I wasn't able to demo drive or even T.O. them. I really need to improve my skills, but where do I begin?? I think that after a year I should know how to handle people, but I don't see myself improving. Can someone provide me some advice?? I don't want to give up, but if I don't improve, I'll probably be out of a job anyway. E-mail me if you have any suggestions.

THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR ISSUE BUT YOU MUST KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS THE SIMPLEST THING THAT CAN TURN YOU COMPLETELY AROUND. I WAS THE EIGHT CAR A MONTH GUY THEN I BECAME THE 30+ A MONTH GUY. THE MAIN THING THAT HELPED ME WAS THE ADJUSTMENT OF MY ATTITUDE. IT IS SO EASY TO GET INTO THE MENTALITY THAT YOU WILL FAIL. IT EVEN GETS SO SCARY YOU DONT WANT TO TAKE UPS. YOU NEED TO START OVER EVERY TIME YOU FINISH WITH A CUSTOMER REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE OUT-COME WAS. PUT IT IN YOUR MENTAL DRAWER. PULL IT OUT LATER ANALIZE IT AND FIX THE MISTAKES. YOU NEED TO TELL YOURSELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT YOU WANT TO BE A SUCCESFULL SALES CONSULTANT AND SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO FEEL THA SAME WAY. PEOPLE IN GENERAL ARE LIKE ANIMALS IN THE SENCE THAT THEY CAN SMELL OR PICK UP NEGATIVE VIBES, FEAR, LACK OF CONFIDENCE ECT. PLAYHOUSE BABY.....BE CONFIDENT NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE REALY FEELING TAKE A DEEP BREATH SMILE AND SELL
