Hello everyone! Well, I wrote the question because I've seen many managers hurt sales before with: "There better not be any non-committed writeup's this weekend." Then monday comes and they go "what happened, where were you weak". Well, It was because they didn't clarify they're statement. write everyone.(period) just get a committment before you start to negotiate. Going through the paperwork gains hundreds of small committments. They may have refused before, but if they just spent 20 minutes doing paperwork they probably want to buy the car. Just ask for the committment now. It's harder for them to say no. Managers don't want you to drop someone that won't commit. They just want you to be a salesman. Not an order taker. Again, persistence conquers. If they won't commit you haven't shown them the value of owning the vehicle. And don't talk price till they are committed. Otherwise that's all you have to sell, PRICE. Sure you'll sell the occasional non-commited customer, but it won't pay you're mortgage. Is there a better way? I'm always open to suggestions.
