Does anyone have a suggestion where I can get a prefabricated follow up system designed specifically for the car biz? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Reynolds and Reynolds(tm) is aggessively marketing their new-fangled "SalesVision" customer tracking system which is based on VERY expensive PC's hooked into a network of other PC's and PC-Class File servers, and into your R&R (tm) customer file. The system is marvelous, complex and baffling, but for the rare salesperson who is both computer motivated enough to learn it and blessed with management rich enough to both buy it and buy training for all and sundry to teach them how to run it, there is a potential marketing advantage to be had. I've seen it, it's impressive expensive and full of gotcha's.

Not the least concern to sales types is the question of who owns the data you have painstakingly entered into the system? Here's a clue: You don't. You're not even entitled to a copy.
