What do you do when your customer tells you they've already driven it somewhere else and refuse to take a demo ride?

I think your idea, Keith, is a sound one.
There are some stores that require a copy of the customer's driver license BEFORE the demo ride just to protect their sales people. You know, car jacking and murder and stuff like that. That's where the objections come up sometimes. Besides, it's always a good idea to know a few of these other strategies to overcome this objection just in case.
PS You may also want to protect yourself by burning a copy of their license while you're running out to get your demo plate.
