I am a woman in the car business, the rules are not different at all, this is a great business to be a part of with more opportunity to be successful and enjoy a great carreer. It certainly was not easy starting out, but everything I have learned in the past ten years in this business has given me a lot of strength in many ways, it can spill over into many areas of life, not just business.

Yes, it is definitely different for women than for men. It is absolutely necessary to learn your product, but it is just as necessary if not more so to be who you are. A Woman. The inherent life skills we have are a stepping stone in being the best customer consultants. We all know that the female in the "group" is the ultimate decision maker, what do they do? They are organized, and informed. The same thing that you should be too. Listen to what the customer wants and needs, as well as to what they don't say. Second most important-Stay away from romantic relationships in the work place. There is only one benefit to getting your money and honey in the same place, that is that you'll always know where they are. Personal stuff is what really messes things up for women at work. As my mama always said "Don't air your laundry in public."
