We all need to fact find to lead the customer to the right vehicle.Asking generalized open ended questions (how the vehicle is to be used, who the drivers will be, etc.) and either/or questions to find out specific information (is it for business or pleasure, etc.) can definitely help. I think many miss the main goal of the customer sometimes by asking too many questions without actually listening to what the customer is telling you. I ask a magic question which gets me more information than asking questions for an hour does. Though you do need to know investigative questions to go from there. (( The magic question is: Do you have a Goal you're trying to achieve? )) Pretty simple huh? In our quest to find the perfect car, sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees. You don't need to resort to CIA Interogation tactics when investigating a customer's needs. If your customer feels bombarded with questions they will lose the emotions that brought them there to buy a car.
