I work in Call Center in Tele-Sales Dept., are targets are very high n at times unachievable...the biggest objection to our calling is ; we are rated as "unfelicitated calls" or "cold callers" ...so how do i get more sales every day n maitain cosistency of sales?
option 1: Take as many calls as you can...

Cold calls are difficult. I have not done very much of them on pourpose. In fact I try to modify cold calls into "warm calls". By this I mean if I am going to start making calls to generate sales I look for reasons to call people. I call people who use my service dept. I call previous customers. I call people who had advertised in the newpaper as wanting to sell or buy a car. I call people who bought a car and the salesman is now gone. From there I look for referrals both in that person's home and beyound. I like to find out how many drivers are in a specific home and who will be the next person to purchase or lease a car. I want an idea of what type of vehicle and an approximate time frame. I do not care if it is 5 years from now they plan on buying. I begin to catlog these leads and continue to ask for referrals. By doing this I limit the number of ice cold calls I have to make and increase the chance that I can actually able to sell something as a result of the call. I think Michael Hargrove has a training set on phone calls. If you attend his training, you might ask him about it.
