This website is a good resource for the new rep.
Of course I may be a bit prejudiced but I also feel our 3 day course (both live and on tape) is an excellent one for beginners and experienced reps alike.
You may also want to check out the OTHER RESOURCES section of this site for other suggestions.
Finding a STEADY performer at the dealership to mentor the youngins is another good training resource often overlooked.

Sales Trainers may have been lousy salespeople, but they may be great trainers. Larry Byrd was a great basketball player but is he a great coach? Tom Landry was a great coach but did you ever here about how great he was playing football? NO. Trainers are different from salespeople. Salespeople know how to sell, Trainers know how to take the information that is available and teach it to someone who is willing to learn.
I attended Michael Hargrove's workshop last month, took what he taught and preceded to make money during a time others were scratching their heads. Know what's funnier? The top 6 salespeople in our dealership last month attended Michael's workshop. That's strong if you ask me. The airplane senario really got me. It's made my marriage stronger & taught me how emotions control people. You should have seen all these big guys crying, including myself. It was a great reality check. I've been to over 50 seminars but none that have affected more salespeople in one day than that one.
