Topic Description: Is it really industry wide, that spiffs are given and taken away from sales people depending on upper managements moods? Are they set then retracted based on over all performance of the store during that given weekend?

Although, I suppose there are some stores that put little to no thought into how to get the most return from their spiff investment, most stores alter their spiff programs based on the immediate needs of their store or staff. At least that has been my experience.
