Topic Description: I am just looking for a few more ideas to try and gain more sales prospects when times are slow.. Such as calling out of auto traders, craigslist, refferals... What are some techniques and sources everyone uses to generate more buissness for themselves when lot traffic is slow? Please let me know! I appreciate your responses! Thank you!

Open the phone book...I know what your thinking..No way! Hear me out. Call a business you know has several employees. When they answer the phone here's what you say.. "someone there is interested in buying a new car or truck is that someone you?" She may say "no, but Jim was talking about one the other day." You of course say "Is Jim there?" now when Jim gets on the phone hears what you say. Jim my name is(your name and dealership) I was in line at McDonalds yesterday and a couple behind me in line were talking about you wanting to get a new car or truck...What are you looking for? Its a fun way to make some easy prospecting calls. Try it...you may just get a sale out of it.
